Turbine Flow meter
Instrumentation mainly deals with different types of process variables such as flow, level, temperature and pressure. Sensors are the devices used to sense these process variables. Turbine flow meter is a major flow measuring sensor. Flow is mainly classified into three types based on the Reynolds number value. They are laminar flow, turbulent flow and transitional flow. For measuring turbulent as well as transitional flows only we are using turbine flow meter. Based on the turbine principle only the flow meter is working. At both the inlet and outlet side of the turbine flow meter so many pipelines will be provided and this will help to have a straight flow. As this flow enters inside the flow meter the turbine inside it will be starts rotating based on the pressure excreted.

A dead weight tester apparatus (DWT) is a device used for the standard calibration of a pressure gauge . The video tutorial explains the about the construction and working of DWT apparatus. DWT method works on the principle of Pascal's law or the principle of transmission of fluid-pressure (a change in pressure at any point in an enclosed fluid at rest is transmitted undiminished to all points in the fluid) .

Transmitter usually is a device/equipment that generates radio waves for communication, radio location or navigational transmitters. It is a combination of transducer plus a signal conditioner that is used for transmitting a signal from sensor to a controller transfer it to a controller . Pressure Guage Session01
Pressure gauge, is the instrument used to measure the pressure/force that the fluid(liquid or gas) exerts on unit area of container when at rest . Pressure gauges are very commonly used type of pressure sensors. Pressure is defined as the force acting per unit area. Inside the pressure gauges for the measurement purpose we are using equipment called bourdon tubes. Bourdon tubes are the devices which are working based on the principle of hooks law of elasticity. Which states that the stress applied will be directly proportional to the deforming force or strain. Here we are using some elastic metal such as phosphor or bronze made up into a flattened thin pipe and making it into a 2700 arc. One end is connected to a socket and made it as a fixed end.
Magnetic flow meter is a most commonly used type of flow meter. This flow sensor can be used for all types of flow. If we want to use this flow meter means mainly we need to satisfy two conditions. • The measuring fluid should be a conductor. • The pipe line through which the fluid flows should be made up of an insulating material.

The video explains about the working of a pressure gauge and the bourdon tube present inside the pressure gauge. Bourdon tube was invented by Eugene Bourdon in the year 1849. The C-type bourdon tube used in today’s pressure gauges has a slight elliptical cross section with its tube bent into a c-shape or arc length of 27 degree, is the pressure sensing component inside the pressure gauge.
